The University now invites applications of qualified candidates for non-tenure track appointments: 2 qualified Lecturer, Senior Lecturer in the area of English Language and Business Communication courses for the 2017-2018 Academic Year, in Overseas Education Center, Qingdao University.

l  Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Business Communication/Intensive IELTS Training

TEACHING POSITION REQUIREMENT

ü  M.A./B.A. in English related majors, Native English speaker;

ü  2 Years teaching or working experience;

ü  Commitment to teaching excellence;

ü  Commitment to collaboration with current faculty;

ü  A thorough understanding of the English language;

ü  Good interpersonal skills;

ü  Ability to motivate the students;

ü  Born after 1958;

ü  IELTS teaching experience is preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

ü  16 teaching hours per week;

ü  2 hours per week for student activities such as participating in an English Corner or judging an English competition;

ü  Participation in 2 faculty meetings per semester;

ü  Submission of course syllabus at the beginning of each semester.

ü  Submission of teaching reports and student grade reports at the end of each semester.

POSITION BENEFITS

ü  Salary varies with the degree of the candidate;

ü  1100 RMB per semester for local travel;

ü  Paid Chinese national holidays;

ü  Apartment provided on campus with all utilities covered;

ü  Totally 10000 RMB as international transportation allowance;

ü  One year working Z-Visa.
